Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026
This policy explains how Becky Halls collects and uses your personal information, and your rights under UK data protection law. I am the data controller for the information described here, and you can contact me at becky@beckyhalls.com.
What I collect
- Information you give me through the free visibility check form or by email: your name, business name, town, postcode, email address, and anything else you choose to send.
- Information from working together, such as details about your business, website and online accounts, so I can provide the service.
- Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit, such as your browser type and pages viewed, through cookies. See my Cookies Policy.
How I use it
- To carry out your free visibility check and reply to you.
- To provide and manage the services you have asked for.
- To send your monthly report and keep in touch about your work with me.
- To meet my legal and accounting obligations.
Lawful basis
I rely on your consent when you submit the free check form, on the performance of a contract when I provide services to you, and on my legitimate interests in running and improving my business. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your information. I use a small number of trusted providers to run my business, such as my website host and email provider (Hostinger) and my contact and email system (FluentCRM, which runs on my own website). I only share what is necessary, and only so they can provide their service to me. I may also share information where required by law.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, and client information for as long as you are a client plus the period required for legal and tax purposes. After that it is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email becky@beckyhalls.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one.
