Almost nobody gets in touch wanting a website. They get in touch wanting one specific thing sorted.
Usually it’s small and it’s been annoying them for months. The Christmas hours are still up in June. There’s a photo of a member of staff who left. The contact form quietly stopped sending emails and nobody noticed until a customer mentioned it on the phone.
Sometimes it’s bigger. A landing page for a campaign. A tired site that needs rebuilding. A HubSpot page nobody in the business knows how to edit.
All of it counts. There isn’t a job too small, and I’d honestly rather do ten little ones than have you sitting on them.
Fixes and edits
New photos, updated prices, changed opening hours, broken forms, a page that’s gone strange on mobile. The bits you keep meaning to get to.
Landing pages
One page built properly for an offer, a campaign or a new service. Fast, mobile-first, and readable by Google and the AI tools.
New sites and rebuilds
A proper home on the web, or a rescue job on a tired one. Built in your branding and simple enough that you can update it yourself.
Ongoing help
A regular pair of hands so things get done instead of drifting. Useful when nobody in the business wants to be the one who touches the website.
Website help on whatever your site is built on
People assume that because I do a lot of WordPress, I can’t help with theirs. Not true, and you don’t need to know what yours is built on either. Send me the link and I’ll work it out.
Most of the businesses I help are in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, around Bingham, Newark, Grantham and Nottingham, though none of this work needs me in the room.
Wix website help
Wix is fine until you need it to do something it would rather not. Page edits, new sections, forms that stopped sending, SEO settings buried three menus deep, mobile layouts that look nothing like the desktop one. If you’ve been staring at the editor for an hour, send it over.
WordPress help and fixes
My home turf. Plugin conflicts, broken layouts after an update, slow pages, Elementor or Gutenberg edits, forms, and the classic one where the developer who built it has vanished and nobody has the login. Rebuilds and rescues welcome.
Squarespace edits and updates
Lovely to look at, occasionally stubborn to change. Content updates, new pages, gallery and booking blocks, custom code where the template won’t budge, and getting the SEO fields actually filled in rather than left blank.
HubSpot landing pages and page edits
Usually the person who set HubSpot up has moved on and everyone else is nervous about breaking something. Landing pages, templates, forms, module edits and CTAs. I’ll make the change and show you how it was done so it’s less frightening next time.
Lovable, Base44 and other vibe-coded apps
More people are building their own thing in Lovable, Base44 or one of the other AI app builders, getting most of the way there, and then hitting a wall. The login stops working, the data does something strange, it runs beautifully on your laptop and nowhere else, or it simply does not look like your business yet. I will pick it up from wherever you got to, get it live on a proper domain, and I will not be sniffy about the fact you built it yourself. Quite the opposite.
Shopify, GoDaddy and everything else
Product pages, theme tweaks, content edits, and the small builders people end up on without quite meaning to. If it turns out I genuinely can’t help, I’ll say so and point you at someone who can. That happens maybe twice a year and it’s never yet been a disaster.
New sites, landing pages and rebuilds
If what you’ve got is beyond saving, or there’s nothing there at all, I build sites too.
A single landing page from £399, or a full small site, scoped and quoted before we start. Rebuilds of tired old sites are welcome and often the better option.
Built to be found
Proper structure, meta tags, schema and llms.txt baked in from day one, so Google and the AI tools can read you clearly.
Fast and yours to edit
Mobile-first, quick to load, and simple enough that you can change things yourself. Usually live within two weeks.
Yours outright
Domain, design, content, the lot. One fee, no monthly charge, and nothing held hostage if we part ways.
What it costs
Small jobs are priced per job, because swapping two photos and rebuilding a booking page are not the same afternoon. Bigger builds and new sites start from £399. Ongoing help is a monthly arrangement we work out to suit how much you actually need.
I’ll always tell you the price before I start. No hourly meters ticking away in the background, no invoice landing bigger than you expected.

Three steps, and no project plan required.

- I tell you what it takesWhat I’d do, what it costs, and how long. If it’s quick I’ll say so rather than dressing it up into a project.
- I do it and you check itYou see it before it goes live. If it isn’t right, I fix it.
You get me, not an account manager and not a ticket number. I live in Whatton-in-the-Vale, and if your site also needs help getting found, that’s what the Get Found setup is for. The two pair up nicely, but neither needs the other.
Questions I get asked
Is any job too small?
No. Changing a phone number or swapping a photo is a perfectly good reason to email me. Those are the jobs that sit undone for a year and quietly cost people customers, so I’d rather you asked.
Can you help with my Wix site?
Yes. Page edits, new sections, forms, SEO settings and mobile layouts. Wix hides a lot of the useful controls, which is why people give up on it and leave the site half finished.
Do you work on Squarespace and Shopify too?
Yes, along with WordPress, HubSpot and GoDaddy. Send me the link to your site and I’ll tell you straight away whether it’s something I can sort.
I built something in Lovable or Base44. Can you finish it?
Yes, and I get asked this more every month. Send me the project and tell me where it went wrong. Common ones are logins, data that will not behave, connecting it to a real domain, and making it look like your business rather than a template.
My site was built by someone else. Is that a problem?
Not usually. I’ll need access, which is normally a login the original developer set up. If you’ve lost it, that’s a common situation and there’s almost always a way back in through your domain or hosting.
Do I have to buy the SEO stuff too?
Not at all. Plenty of people come to me just for website work and never buy anything else, and that’s completely fine. If your site does need help getting found I’ll mention it once and then leave it alone.
How quickly can you do it?
Small jobs usually within a few days. New builds are usually live within two weeks. Bigger pieces depend on what’s already booked in, so tell me your deadline when you email and I’ll be straight with you about whether I can hit it.
Will you build me something I can update myself?
Yes, and I’d rather you could. I’ll show you how to do the bits you’ll want to change often. You’re welcome to keep me for the fiddly things and do the easy ones yourself.
Do you only work with businesses in Nottinghamshire?
That’s where most of my clients are, from Bingham and Cropwell Bishop out to Newark and Grantham. None of this work needs me in the room though, so if you’re further afield and you like how I do things, get in touch.
