Because that’s when the work happens: the profile rebuild, the listings, the technical fixes, the baseline. I charge for the big work while I’m doing it, then the price drops. Most agencies do it the other way round and hope you don’t notice.
Three months, then monthly
SEO takes about that long to start showing. Anyone promising faster is guessing or fibbing. After the setup phase it’s month to month, 30 days’ notice whenever you like, no exit fees.
You own everything
Domain, website, Google profile, reviews, customer data. Leave whenever you like after the setup phase and everything is handed over within 14 days.
