HubSpot landing pages and page edits, without a retainer.
You need a landing page live by Thursday, the template will not do the thing the campaign was designed around, and the person who set HubSpot up left in March. Tell me what you need and I’ll tell you what it takes before you commit to anything.
Tell me what you needSounds familiar?
Almost everyone who emails me about HubSpot opens with some version of “this is probably really simple, but”.
Nobody is trying to be difficult. HubSpot is a big piece of software, most people only ever use a corner of it, and the corner you need is usually the one nobody was shown.
The person who set it up has gone
They built the templates, they knew where everything lived, and now they’re at a different company. Nobody left in the building wants to be the one who breaks it.
The landing page is needed Thursday
And the template will not do the layout the campaign was designed around. Nobody has time to go and learn HubL by Wednesday.
The form goes nowhere useful
Submissions land, but on the wrong list, or with the wrong lifecycle stage, or somewhere nobody has looked since 2024.
You need one module changed
One. And your options seem to be a marketplace quote with a scoping call attached, or leaving it wrong for another quarter.
CTAs pointing at pages that died
Old campaign, old URL, still linked from four live pages and an email template that goes out every Tuesday.
It looks nothing like your brand
It was built from a stock template in a hurry two years ago, and everyone has agreed not to mention it.
What I actually do in HubSpot
I work in HubSpot the way most people actually need it worked in. Small, specific, and finished this week.
- Landing pages. Built to look like your brand rather than the template’s idea of your brand. One page, or a set for a campaign.
- Page edits. Copy, images, sections, layout. The changes nobody internally wants to be responsible for.
- Templates and modules. HubL edits, custom modules, and drag-and-drop areas set up so your team can use them next time without emailing anyone.
- Forms and CTAs. Fields, routing, the follow-up nobody ever set up, and CTAs that point at something which still exists.
- Email templates. Including the ones that look perfect in HubSpot and fall to pieces in Outlook.
- The SEO fields. Titles, descriptions, headings, structure. So the page has a chance of being found by someone you didn’t email it to.

Where I am, and why it doesn’t matter
I’m in Whatton-in-the-Vale, out between Nottingham and Grantham, and a good chunk of my work is with marketing teams in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and around the East Midlands generally.
But HubSpot work is HubSpot work. It happens in a browser. I’ve fixed pages for people I’ve never met, for companies in cities I’ve never been to, and none of it needed me in the room or in a meeting about the meeting. If you’re a two-person marketing team in Bristol with a landing page problem, that’s completely fine.
Why not just ask your HubSpot partner agency?
Sometimes you should, for example: If you’re rebuilding the whole site, migrating in from WordPress, or running an integration project with three systems that need to talk to each other, a partner agency with a proper team will have experience here.
But that isn’t what most of these jobs are. Most of them are a couple of hours of work – and a partner agency cannot really sell you that. They can sell you a monthly retainer, or a scoped project with a purchase order and a kick-off call and a deck at the end of it. So the small job goes into a backlog, sits there for a quarter, and everyone ends up building a workaround.
I’ll just do the two hour job. I’ll tell you it was two hours, charge you for two hours, and I won’t try to grow it into a huge programme of work.
How it works
Three steps, and no project plan required.
- You tell me what’s wrongDrop me an email. A sentence is plenty, and a screenshot is a bonus. You don’t need to know the technical words for it.
- I tell you what it takesWhat I’d do, what it costs, and how long. If it’s quick I’ll say so rather than dressing it up into a project.
- I do it and you check itYou see it before it goes live. If it isn’t right, I fix it.
You get me, not an account manager and not a ticket number. If the landing page turns out to be one symptom of a bigger problem where nobody is finding you in the first place, that’s what the AI visibility work is for. The two go together nicely, and neither needs the other.
What it costs
Small jobs are priced per job, because a copy change and a new campaign template are not the same thing. Bigger builds start from £399. Ongoing help is a monthly arrangement we work out to suit how much you actually need.
I’ll always tell you the price before I start. There’s no hourly meters ticking away in the background and no invoice bigger than you expected.
Questions I get asked
Can someone edit my HubSpot landing page for me?
Yes. Send me a link to the page and a sentence about what needs changing, and I’ll tell you what it takes before you commit to anything. Most of these jobs are small, and they are priced per job rather than on a retainer.
How do I edit a HubSpot template without breaking it?
Work on an unpublished copy of the page first, and change the module rather than the template wherever you can, because a template edit hits every page using it. If nobody in your team wants to be the one who tries, that is usually when people email me.
Why is my HubSpot form not sending notifications?
Nine times out of ten the notification recipients were never set on the form itself, or they point at somebody who has left. After that, check the follow-up email is actually turned on and that submissions are landing on the list you expect.
Can I get HubSpot help without signing up to a monthly retainer?
Yes. Everything I do in HubSpot is priced per job. If you would rather have somebody on hand every month we can arrange that, but it is not the default and I will not push you towards it.
Do I need CMS Hub Professional to add a custom module?
Custom coded modules and serverless functions generally need Professional or above. Most page, content and form work is fine on lower tiers. Send me a screenshot of your account and I’ll tell you what is possible on your plan before you spend anything.
How much does HubSpot landing page help cost?
It is priced per job. Small edits are small, bigger builds start from £399, and you get the price before I start. I invoice properly with normal payment terms, so a purchase order is not a problem.
How long does it take to build a HubSpot landing page?
Usually within a week for a single page, and faster if it is an edit to something that already exists. Tell me your campaign date in the first email and I’ll say straight away whether it is realistic.
Who owns the HubSpot pages a freelancer builds for me?
You do. Everything lives in your portal, in your account, built with HubSpot’s own tools. Nothing is locked to me and there is nothing awkward to unpick if we stop working together.
