Wix website help in Nottingham, and anywhere else you are.
Page edits, broken forms, mobile layouts that look nothing like the desktop one, and the SEO settings hidden three menus deep – Wix can be tricky sometimes! If you’ve got a Wix site and need some help, send me the link and tell me what’s annoying you.
Tell me what needs doingSounds familiar?
Wix is lovely right up until you need it to do something it would rather not…
Then you find yourself spending hours getting nowhere fast, wondering whether you’ve broken something along the way.
The form stopped sending
Someone filled it in three weeks ago and it went nowhere. You only found out because they rang to ask why you’d ignored them.
Mobile looks nothing like desktop
Wix keeps a separate mobile layout – a lot of users don’t realise that! Let me help you keep your screen looking neat and tidy on mobile.
You can’t find the SEO settings
Or you found them and every field is blank, which is somehow worse.
The editor won’t put it where you want
You’ve dragged the same box eleven times and it keeps snapping back. That one isn’t you.
You want to add bookings or a shop
And the moment you switch one on, the rest of the site rearranges itself.
Someone built it and left
You’ve got a login that half works and no idea which email address the domain is attached to.
What I actually do on Wix
Most Wix jobs are small and straightforward. Some only ‘look’ straightforward until you actually start working on the page. I’ll take a look at your site and tell you what I think needs doing.
- Page edits. New photos, changed prices, updated opening hours, staff who have moved on, and the Christmas hours that are still up in June.
- Forms that work. Fixing the ones that stopped, adding fields, and making sure submissions land in an inbox somebody actually reads.
- Mobile layouts. Going through the mobile view properly rather than hoping it inherits from the desktop one.
- New pages and landing pages. Built to match the rest of the site so they don’t look bolted on afterwards.
- The SEO fields. Titles, descriptions, headings, alt text and the structure underneath, so Google and the AI tools can read you clearly.
- Speed. Wix sites get heavy fast, and nine times out of ten it’s photographs nobody resized.
- Bookings, shops and members areas. Switching them on without the rest of the site moving about.

Nottingham, and everywhere else
I’m in Nottingham, so a lot of my Wix work is for businesses around Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Lincoln, Derby and Newark. Salons, trades, village pubs, the odd garden centre.
But none of this needs me to be nearby. I’ve fixed Wix sites for people I’ve never met and it makes no difference at all. So if you’re further afield and you like the sound of how I work, get in touch anyway.
Why not just use Wix support?
Sometimes that is the right option and I’ll say so. If something is broken at Wix’s end, or it’s a billing or domain question, their support is who you need.
But there’s a difference between someone explaining what the editor can do and someone doing it for you. Support will tell you which menu the setting lives in. They won’t tell you the setting is a bad idea, or notice that your mobile layout has become a little odd looking, or spot that your contact form has been failing since February. And they can’t sit there for forty minutes nudging things until it looks right.
That last part is most of my job.
How it works
Three steps, and no project plan required.
- You tell me what’s wrongDrop me an email. A sentence is plenty, and a screenshot is a bonus. You don’t need to know the technical words for it.
- I tell you what it takesWhat I’d do, what it costs, and how long. If it’s quick I’ll say so rather than dressing it up into a project.
- I do it and you check itYou see it before it goes live. If it isn’t right, I fix it.
You get me, not an account manager and not a ticket number. And if your Wix site also needs help getting found rather than just fixing, that’s what the AI visibility work is for. The two pair up nicely, but neither needs the other.
Questions I get asked
Can someone fix my Wix website for me?
Yes. Send me the link and a sentence about what’s going wrong, and I’ll tell you what it takes before you commit to anything. Most Wix jobs are small, and no job is too small to ask about.
Why does my Wix site look different on mobile?
Because Wix keeps a separate mobile layout from your desktop one. Changes you make on desktop do not always carry across, so over time the mobile version drifts. It needs going through on its own, which is what I do.
My Wix contact form is not sending emails. How do I fix it?
Usually the notification address is wrong, the form was never connected to an inbox anybody checks, or the emails are landing in spam. It is normally a ten minute fix once you know where to look, and it is one of the most common things I get asked about.
Where are the SEO settings in Wix?
Each page has its own SEO panel where the title, description and URL live, and there is a separate site-wide SEO section. They are easy to miss, and on most sites I look at they have never been filled in.
How do I give someone access to my Wix site without sharing my password?
Wix lets you invite a contributor and choose what they can and cannot do. You send an invite, they get their own login, and you remove them whenever you like. You never need to hand over your password.
How much does it cost to get help with a Wix website?
It is priced per job, because swapping two photos and rebuilding a booking page are not the same afternoon. You get the price before I start, and if what you need is ten minutes of my time I will usually just do it.
Should I move my Wix site to WordPress?
Usually not. Wix suits a lot of small businesses, moving platform is disruptive, and it rarely fixes the thing that was actually bothering you. If there is a real reason to move I will say so, and if there is not I will say that too.
Who can help with my Wix website in Nottingham?
That would be me. I work with businesses across Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Lincoln, Derby and Newark, and with plenty of people I have never met, because Wix runs in a browser.
